OpenLayers meets Map24

Within the scope of a project we extended the free and open source library OpenLayers by a new layer for Map24* services.

This extension allows for the use of maps provided by the Mapsolute GmbH* and its Map24 services. Developers are now able to integrate these maps in arbitrary websites through the OpenLayers API.

The following example shows a few of the numerous possibilities.

• Show componio GmbH, Darmstadt
• Add markers (componio GmbH , Darmstadt and Rhein-Main Airport, Frankfurt a. M.)
• Remove markers
• Add route from componio GmbH, Darmstadt to Rhein-Main Airport, Frankfurt a. M.)
• Remove route

The extension will be become an integral part of OpenLayers in the near future and is already available at the OpenLayers website.
